Bibliophile or not, reading is a way of life for most people, and It's quite impossible to go a day without picking up a book.
Although digital books have become more popular these days, thanks to Scribd! But, this shouldn't stop you from devouring a good hardcover book every now and then.

Creating a reading nook in your space is always a great way to enhance your reading experience.
I mostly enjoy reading hardcover romance books. As long as it's a Mills and Boons or Harlequin romance (my all-time favourite).

The point is when we finally do get to pick up our favorite book, we will also need a quiet and perfectly curated nook to read them.
Comfortable Seating
Styling Tips- Always find the most comfortable corner and seat when you want to read, it makes the experience much more enjoyable.
Comfortable Seating
Bean bags, Lounge chairs or any well-cushioned Sofa always works. Try not to overthink it, if you are on a budget and cannot afford a new comfortable seating for your reading corner, your sofa will do or you can just get a floor pillow and place it in your preferred nook.
Few people however prefer to read in bed, but I believe this is only appropriate if you are ready for bed at night and do not mind falling asleep whilst you read.
Lighting
Good lighting equals a good reading experience.
Desk lamps and floor lamps are always good for reading at night. During the day, however, it's best to make do with the natural light. If your space doesn't have enough natural lights you can make use of any available light source around you. Just make sure it's not the kind that will strain or hurt your eyes.
Ottoman or Side Stool
You will need something to either place your feet, gadget or your munch and sip (snack), while you read.
Blanket or Throw
I know you are rolling your eyes already. But hey! If you are a fussy and extra kind of reader like myself, and you want to experience that hygge(cosy and comfort) feeling while you read, then a blanket in your reading nook would be a great addition.
Caution tips - you may not need this in a hot or humid space, it will certainly be uncomfortable.
Some other items you might want to add to your reading nook may include, a throw pillow, plants, Artwork, Scented Candles, a Drink Coaster, Bookmarks etc.
